Reclaiming 2025: A Life Unbound

Prompt: Revisiting the Beginning - What are your hopes, intentions, and themes for 2025? How do you want to feel at the end of this year? Has anything changed now that you've sat with it over this challenge?

At the start of this year, I set out to build a life that feels like mine—one that is steady, fulfilling, and aligned with who I truly am. A life where I don’t just exist, but thrive. Where joy isn’t something I chase, but something I live.

I still hold those hopes, but now they feel bigger. Bolder. Less like gentle wishes and more like a claim—because I am not waiting to feel at home in my body, my city, or my life. I am making it happen.

What’s Changed?

I once thought this year would be about balance—learning to move forward with gentle persistence, nurturing my independence while making space for community. And while those things still matter, I see now that this isn’t just about softly stepping into alignment. This is about untaming.

This is about standing firm in the life I am building. About refusing to shrink myself, refusing to move at a pace that isn’t mine, refusing to mold my life into something more acceptable or digestible.

I am not here to live small.

The Themes of My Untaming

🔥 Radical Self-Trust – I know who I am, and I trust myself to build a life that honors that. No more second-guessing. No more seeking external validation.

🔥 Full-Body Presence – I am no longer waiting for the ‘right’ moment to live. Every single day, I choose to be here—fully, intentionally, unapologetically.

🔥 Softness as Strength – I don’t have to prove my worth through exhaustion. I will rest when I need to. I will honor my limits. I will embrace the kind of power that doesn’t require force, only certainty.

🔥 Expansion Without Apology – I will not keep myself contained. I will explore. I will seek. I will take up space. I will live a life that is wide, deep, and fully mine.

By the end of this year, I don’t just want to feel settled. I want to feel alive—deep in my bones, in the way I move, in the way I show up. I want to look back and know that I didn’t hold back, didn’t wait for permission, didn’t hesitate when life called me forward.

This year, I am untaming. I am unbound. And I will never go back.
